Delano Chamber Brass

The Delano Brass is a 28 member brass and percussion ensemble. The group performs music written for the English Brass Band as well as great pieces written for large brass ensembles. The Delano Brass will begin their 2023-2024 season with the first of three concerts on Sunday November 12, 2023. All three of these concerts will be held at West Side Baptist Church 304 South Seneca and begin at 3:00pm.

Sunday November 12, 2023
This concert will pay tribute to all Military service men and women and all veterans of the various military branches. Music on this concert will include John Williams “Summon the Heroes, An American Trilogy” (songs of the civil war), “They Gave All” (a tribute to the veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice). If you are a veteran or have a family member that is a veteran, this concert will dedicated to your service.

Sunday, February 18, 2024
The concert will feature music from composers from all over the globe. Russian, German, Austrian, Canadian, and of course the USA. This will make for a very interesting mixture of music written for Brass and Percussion.

Sunday, April 28, 2024
Our final concert of the season will feature some great brass band literature. It will also feature some new contemporary music written for Brass ensemble.
